Magento holds 10.9% of the mentions in Spanish answers about e-commerce platforms in the global market, over the 4-week window closed on October 12, 2026, with ChatGPT, Gemini and Claude as the models queried. In English the same brand reaches 16.4% over the same weeks. Each language rests on 83 answers: the Spanish ones carry 66 mentions of Magento and the English ones carry 100. The gap moves the ranking as well. Magento sits third in Spanish and second in English, with the English range standing above the Spanish range, the two shares clearly apart.
For the brands competing in this category, the language of the prompt is part of the result. The same platform, measured over the same weeks and the same number of answers, comes out with a different share and a different position in each language. The distance to Magento is shorter in Spanish, and any position above Magento in Spanish is held with a thinner margin once the question arrives in English. The order of the category is read in the language of the question.
How I measured it
In the 4-week window closed on October 12, 2026 I gathered 83 answers from ChatGPT, Gemini and Claude about e-commerce platforms in Global. The public benchmark measures every week which brands ChatGPT, Gemini and Claude name across 20 markets and 15 industries, in Spanish and in English. The models are queried through their APIs and without web search. Every mention is counted against a curated brand registry, with whole-word matching. Every brand that appears in a Quick Insight has been reviewed by a person. A brand's mention share is its part of the category's verified mentions in the period. The 95% interval is the margin of error of the share, calculated with the Wilson method. I calculate it on mentions and on answers. I publish a lead as clear when the second brand's share falls outside the leader's interval in both calculations. Inside it, it is a statistical tie.
