Three models, three different leaders. In the e-commerce platforms category in Belgium, ChatGPT puts BigCommerce first, Gemini puts WooCommerce first and Claude puts Magento first. The 4-week window closed on September 14, 2026 covers 39 answers from ChatGPT, Gemini and Claude, 13 per model. Across all of them, BigCommerce takes 4.4% of mentions and WooCommerce 5.4%, and each of the two appears in 30.8% of the answers. Magento sits third, with most of its presence coming from Claude.

For a brand competing in this category the reference splits in three. The head of the table changes with the model consulted, and the two brands on top stay close to each other in share and even in the count of answers that name them. The distance from those two to Magento is already visible in the answer count. A position measured in one model alone describes a part of the picture; the three models together place three different names at the top in the same market and the same window, so the comparison for any other platform in the category runs against a different leader in each one.

How I measured it

In the 4-week window closed on September 14, 2026 I gathered 39 answers from ChatGPT, Gemini and Claude about e-commerce platforms in Belgium. The public benchmark measures every week which brands ChatGPT, Gemini and Claude name across 20 markets and 15 industries, in Spanish and in English. The models are queried through their APIs and without web search. Every mention is counted against a curated brand registry, with whole-word matching. Every brand that appears in a Quick Insight has been reviewed by a person. A brand's mention share is its part of the category's verified mentions in the period. The 95% interval is the margin of error of the share, calculated with the Wilson method. I calculate it on mentions and on answers. I publish a lead as clear when the second brand's share falls outside the leader's interval in both calculations. Inside it, it is a statistical tie.
